50mm face fix sliding window
Features
The face fix sliding window has a frame width of 50mm and is available in XO, XOX, OXO and OXXO configurations and can incorporate integral highlights and lowlights.
Structural
The sliding window has been tested to AS2047-1999 and has achieved a wind load rating of C4. By using a special high stress alloy the window is suitable for buildings in areas of Australia subject to extreme cyclonic weather.
Rounded hollow stiles add to the strength of the window and the sash sits completely inside the frame which resists rolling of the top and bottom sash rail under high wind loads.
Aesthetics
No unfinished or exposed edges. No interior projections to interfere with curtains or other window fumishings.
There are numerous lock options available:
An architectural style key lock that adds additional security features.
An ergonomically designed handle which ensures ease of use by the elderly or motion impaired.
Multi-position vent locking is also available.
Performance
The hollow sill gives added strength and rigidity to the frame whilst the built in sill baffle achieves a water penetration resistance level of 600Pa.
The fin-seals on the sliding sash minimise air infiltration so that no drafts can be felt through the window while maximising energy performance.
The window accepts glass up to 10.38mm laminate thickness single glazed.
Additional Benefits
The sill design ensures easy cleaning. Window cleaning is much safer with rounded edges.
